Congressman Jim McDermott (D-WA) posted the following on his Facebook page today (October 13, 2011): 

"Today, I spoke on the House floor against House Republicans’ onslaught on women’s right to reproductive health care – especially poor women. You can watch my speech below. This week, I also signed a letter calling on Republicans to stop their attack on Planned Parenthood, and I signed another letter to the “supercommittee” to protect funding for the Title X program, which supports family planning programs for the low-income and the uninsured."
